A ticket back in time is exactly what we will be offering with one of the first titles to hit the press in our New Year publications list. The book that will set the world alight for bus fans is a definitive history of the Western Welsh Omnibus Company Limited.

Packed with pictures, this is no ordinary book on old transport. Instead, author Colin Scott has magically mixed the tale behind the running of one of the UK’s biggest bus companies with fascinating, memory jerking anecdotes from the company’s daily life. The result is sure to appeal to a wide cross-section. From those who worked for the company to one-time passengers, the Western Welsh book provides both a nostalgic look back alongside an endless list of fascinating facts and figures.

This book has been many years in the making and here at Bryngold Books, we are proud to have been given the task of bringing
it to publication.
The book, due for publication in late Spring 2012, will be a
high quality, full-colour, case-bound volume with 240 pages containing more than 200 illustrations. It will contain a foreword by popular Welsh broadcasting personality and bus
enthusiast Roy Noble.

Final details have yet to be decided on the full title and cover price. Check out this site early in the New Year for full details and a potential pre-order discount.

In the meantime, help spread the word – Western Welsh is about to hit the road again!
