We have a number of fascinating new titles coming up in 2010 some of which are listed below. If you would like to receive advance notification of their release or pre-order a copy just click on our contact page and let us know.

The Swansea Grand Theatre

Eagerly anticipated by so many people we are delighted to have the opportunity to publish Ian Parsons book on the theatre and much more linked to it. Ian has spent much time researching the theatre’s history, gathered details of almost every personality who has ever performed there and for good measure thrown in an enormous amount of facts and information on the local amateur dramatic scene. The book which includes a lavish selection of images touches on a wide expanse of the Swansea Bay area and will startle some of its readers with its compelling facts. Definitely a book to impress this is one not to be missed. Watch out for the launch in July. Price: tbc

Electric vehicles
There’s always some new development when it comes to electric vehicles. There’s nothing new about them though. They have been around for more than 100 years. One Swansea man doesn’t need reminding about this. He spent much of his life working in one of the companies that produced a range of electric vehicles that many will have been familiar with. Keith Roberts worked for Morrison Electricar a company, once based in Tredegar, South Wales that gave us their own brand of familiar bread vans and milk floats among other vehicles. He’s even owned one himself! Having written a plethora of magazine articles on the subject he is about to take the bold step and put his words into a book. Again, Bryngold Books is delighted to have Keith on board and we know this will be a title snapped up by many as little, according to Keith has been written about the topic. No date has yet been set for the launch of this book, but hopefully this fascinating mix of words and pictures will be on the shelves before the middle of the 2010. Price: tbc

and finally . . .
2010 is likely to bring a number of other titles, among them two more fascinating collections of images from David Roberts, one on Swansea & District, the other on Neath & Port Talbot. These should both be launched in early September and once again if you would like to receive advance notice or even contribute to them then please contact us today.
Bryngold Books is always looking for new titles to publish and happy to meet with would-be authors. We offer a full range of design & print services and can offer customers a relaxed approach to their individual projects but at the same time guarantee satisfaction.
