40 Years Of Brown Bombers
This is a history of the Neath & Cardiff Luxury Coach company which records the challenges faced by a transport operation widely known for its express services it pioneered between Swansea and Cardiff in the early 1930s. The N&C’s reputation was enhanced by a dedicated staff determined to provide the travelling public of South Wales with a fast and efficient service.
The brown and red livery of its vehicles gave way to the legendary name Brown Bombers, a tag fondly remembered by many even today, though the company ceased to exist in the late 1970s.
